My 5 year old great grandson loves to help me in the kitchen and wants to cook and prepare. I love these safety knives! He has cut lettuce, olives, many things and feels so big that he can do this and help me. There were extras so I made sure my daughter, his grandmother, had one and also sent one home with his mother so he can help there too! I highly recommend these.

I bought these for my 4 almost 5 yr old as he really likes to help out in the kitchen. We didn’t want him grabbing an adult knife and cutting himself so we looked into these. I wasn’t sure they were gonna really work but they cut the food really well and I don’t need to worry about him cutting himself. He feels like a big kid being able to help out in the kitchen with whatever we’re making for dinner that night

I bought these to be used by four and five year old students to cut up a pumpkin (not carving but cutting into pieces). Right off the bat, one of the four small knife broke where the “blade” meets the handle. The other three small knives work okay, the pumpkin rine was rather thick. I would purchase again. I will use these again and again in my class when we need to cut up fruits or vegetables. I don’t know I’d use them again for pumpkins.
